Lacey - Fairy Of The Four Seasons: Life Story

My name is Lacey Esther Paisley. When I first met Lavendix Club and my sister Cassie-Anne, I was 16 years of age. I love getting my acrylic paints out and paint. Everything to do with nature, seasons and colours of the seasons. Painting is a passion and magic painting takes away the pleasure of holding a brush and knowing that you put hard work and time into creating a beautiful piece of art.

I was born on September 3. Date of my birth is unknown although my parents told me I'm seventeen.  was born a Crystal Clear, which was confirmed by the Colour Changing Moonstone of Colardatera. The moonstone changes colour when you pass it over a new born infant to determine their status. Mother said that I was a cheerful girl growing up and always played pranks on my parents and my sister -for which, I think, she still hates me for!-
When I was six years old, mother and father sent me to Earth for my own protection. They had fairy and wizard hybrids -humans that had magic flowing in them, but aren't able to use it due to being hybrids (half fairy and half human)-

For the following three years, I went to human primary school. My parents erased my memories of magic, family and Magix. But I always felt like a big part of my life was missing. I felt it deep within. But, what my adoptive and real parents did not realise was that I still had magic in me. They also never realised that, being a Fairy of the Four Seasons, I would bring chaotic weather patterns and not realise it.

On my 9th birthday, my adoptive parents banned me from going to school, to youth clubs and generally being outside (after accidentally sending a massive storm above our town.) I, unaware of my powers, felt it was unfair as outdoors was the only place I found peace at. School was where I loved to be due to lessons in Biology, Bio-Chemistry and the other sciences that I loved.
Owen and Lylienne blacked out my windows so I wouldn't even think of going outside, locked the window in case I did manage to look outside and I was stuck in my room as I wasn't allowed to gown downstairs! I felt like I was a prisoner in my own house.

The only things I had were a laptop, phone (I was able to call school friends from it), artistic equipment, a bed, clothes and food. Basic communication. I listened to rock and heavy metal a lot as I could relate to the words and the music the bands played was soul ripping as well. It was cool to find out that I share a name with a singer as well!
At the age of eleven, Lylienne bought my an acoustic guitar and I learned to play it. Whenever Own and Lylienne were out of the house for a day because of work, I'd write music based on my feelings of loneliness, depression, sorrow and sometimes joy.

Years and years went by. At the age of fifteen, Own and Lylienne let me out of my room for the first time ever! But every room n the house was blacked out.
We had a conversation about my real family.
"Morning, Lacey!" Lylienne said.
"Morning, Lylienne!" I replied
"Come sit!" Owen replied
I went to sit down on the couch where he pointed at.
"We have to talk to you about your real parents" He continued
"My real parents? Am I not your daughter?" I asked
"No, you're not. We adopted you when you were six years old when your parents sent you to us."
"Who are they?" I asked again
"We don't know their names. They appointed us to look after you." Lylienne replied
"That's why you kept me imprisoned in my room for the last 7 years. Why did you decide to tell me this. I have enough of your secrecy!" I shouted and went back to my room.

I felt such anger wash over me when I sat on my bed. But sadness as well. To know that they were not my real parents. who were my real parents then?

On my sixteenth birthday, I was awakened by an burst of energy opening my windows, blasting away the black material that my adoptive parents used for blacking out my windows. Then, seven fairies flew in. I could not believe my eyes.
"Girls, fall in!" A girl with greenish-yellow hair said and the rest have arranged themselves.
"Wow, real fairies! I can't believe my own eyes!" I replied
"You can't believe we're fairies? You're one yourself, I have you know! A powerful one too!" The girl with black hair and purple eyes giggled.
"Me? Really?" I asked
One of the girls cast a spell at me. Then, I felt like someone used a time machine on me. I've seen my life, backwards. Everything like it was just yesterday.
"What's your name, girl?" The girl with bright blue hair said. I was convinced we were related as her eyes are the same shape as mine.
"L...L...Lacey" I replied, stuttering.
"Sister!" She replied and hugged me.
"Woah ho ho! Hold on a minute! Sister?" I asked in shock.
"Yeah, girl! I'm Cassie-Anne! But call me CassAnee! These are my friends: Brianne, Belva, Trisha, Romi, Lyvia and Fontaine" She introduced
"Pleasure to meet you all!" I replied, doing a small curtsey.
"We should be the ones to say that! You are a Crystal Clear Princess or Colardatera, a planet of colours!"
That has nearly made my jaw drop to the ground. My identity has been completely changed in a matter of minutes. I was gobsmacked.
"You must of confused me with someone else. I'm not a princess. I'm just a young teenager with a quiet..."
"But dark" she added
"Life" I said
"Have you ever noticed weather getting out of hand while you're outside?" Belva asked
"Yeah. Every time"
"You're a Fairy of Four Seasons!" she replied

With what the memory time machine spell thing they used, I'd come to realise that they were right!
"I want to go to wherever I'm from!"
"At your command, your Highness!" Lavendix, Zoomix! They shouted. They had their Believix already. But something strange happened. I became a fairy with them as well. I transformed!
"Why is my sister's outfit has only three colours?" I asked
"She's a Light Ray. Second highest rank in your realm. Their outfits consist of three colours and they're generally weaker than the Crystal Clears (you're one of them)" Fontaine explained
CassAnne groaned in jealousy.

They took me by my arms and in a flash of rainbow light, we were in the realm of Colardatera.

They took me up to the palace to meet my parents.
"Queen Rowenne and King Edlynd. Presenting to you, Princess Lacey Esther Paisley of Colardatera!" Fontaine bowed and spoke to the King and Queen.
They opened to the huge concrete door with beautiful gold plant-like vines as decorations.
I slowly took my steps forward.
"Lacey!" My parents shouted in joy as they hugged me.
"Mom, dad!" I replied as I held them close for the first time in ten years.
"My, it's been a while! How are you? Did your adoptive parents treat you well?" Mom asked
I shook my head.
"They trapped me in my room for seven years. This is the first time in those years where I've actually seen sun or moonlight!" I replied
"So, do you know what your powers are?" Dad questioned with a suspicious expression on his face.
"The Four Seasons!" I replied
"That's why we sent you to Earth. We disowned you for your powers aren't based on colour, like everyone else on the planet! And we'll do it again! We disown you! You are not worthy of the throne for you do not have the power of the planet!"
"Seems like it would've been better for me to stay locked up in my room! You are not better than my adoptive parents! I came here to find out about my past and to have a real family back, but no, I have came here to find that my parents are a sick bunch of whiny freaks that think just because my powers are different, they can disown their very own child! I had a depressing life in dark room for seven years and now you're just making it worse! Thanks, Mom and Dad!
And to you, Lavendix! Why have you brought me here? For me hear my parents telling me that they disown me? I thought that I have friends that would not let me go through heartache. And apparently, you do! Thanks, to you. All of you for making my life darker and more depressing!" I yelled out on the top of my lungs and ran outside of the palace.
"Lacey Transform" I shouted and I transformed into a multicoloured outfit with HUGE tulip shaped wings. I immediately flew up and away from the palace.
I flew across the planet via the gateways into a rainbow land.

I flew down after a long while and transformed back into a civilian outfit.
"Hey, you're Princess Lacey!" A girl spoke.
"No, no I'm not a princess. Just Lacey!" I replied
"Listen, I know what happened 10 years ago. After finding out that your powers were different from anyone else, they disowned you. I just wanted to let you know that my parents were the same! I'm Luna, Fairy of the Moon! And I'm your long lost cousins!" Luna said
I sat there with my eyes staring at hers. That was too much information to cram into my chicken-like brain for one day.
"Wow. I'm glad to know that I ain't the only one. So, how did your parents get over it?"
"It took them a while, but they adjusted to the fact that I wasn't my fault that I have a rare power for the planet."
"It is just a matter of time?"
"Yes. Pretty much. As well as how well they'll accept you!"
"Probably never!" I replied
"No! Don't say that! Just go up and ask to talk with them!" Luna argued back.
"I will! Thank you Luna!" I said and went through the portals back to the palace

I walked into the palace and asked to speak to my parents.
"Mother, father. I need to speak with you" I requested.
"Why would we want to speak to you? We disowned you!" Mother replied
"Please, just a few minutes!" I asked

They led me though a couple of weird corridors and doors until we came upon the royal quarters. The queen opened the door for me and I walked in, holding the door for her.
The king pointed for me to sit on a red coloured cushioned chair.
"Make it quick, Lacey" Dad snapped at me.
"No, I will take my time as I want to speak with you about this. I know that it is hard for you to comprehend that I am a Fairy of The Four Seasons. But colour comes in to play with those powers as well. There are loads of use of colours in seasons and particularly autumn and spring. Where colours come alive in their different ways. I always loved colours, love them now and I forever will. It is not as if I hate colour. Then, I would understand your anger at me. But, I love colours to pieces, just like any Colardaterran would. And, form just exploring the land, I have come to know Luna, a Fairy of the Moon and my long lost cousin. We are both fairies that are different in the power respect but we are like other Colardaterran fairies. Just different powers from everyone else. And you, from all the people should know that uniqueness and originality is what a person should be all about. Not a copy of someone else, but an original self" I explained
My parents kept silent for almost 3 minutes.
"You're right, Lacey. We treated you so harshly. We shouldn't have. I'm so sorry on behalf of myself and your dad. It will take a while for him to adjust but I accept you for who you are now! Thank you for helping me see that originality is better than copies!" My mother said and hugged me. I hugged her back.

So, this is the story of Lacey's life from birth until her arrival in Colardatera. Her character is fierce and strong but also shaky and a bit overly sensitive.
I hope you like her story!

:iconcommentplz:
Luna is the character by: :iconzinnitha: and Luna is Lacey's long lost cousin! Both have a common bond - unique powers for the planet that they live in.

This is Lacey's Life Story and how her life has been more difficult than other fairies from Lavendix. Her life wasn't exactly peppy and happy. In fact, it's dark and filled with sadness. Once Lavendix burst in to her life, everything changes this life overcast with darkness.

I hope you'll like her story!
